Why Mentorship Matters in Engineering
Engineering isn’t just a degree — it’s a profession built on experience, licensure, and relationships. The gap between graduation and becoming a licensed PE is long, and most students navigate it without a map. TSPE TTU’s mentorship program changes that. Our mentors are practicing PEs and senior engineers who remember what it was like to be a student — and who are genuinely invested in helping you close that gap faster.

How the Program Works

Apply
Submit a short form telling us your engineering discipline and career goals. Applications are reviewed by chapter officers each semester.

Get Matched
We pair you with a mentor based on discipline, career interests, and goals. Most students are matched within 2 weeks.

Meet Regularly
Most mentor-mentee pairs meet once a month via video call, on campus, or at chapter events. It’s flexible and mentor-led.
